Un altro mondo
Un altro Mondo
Brand image, illustration, collateral material and title design for the documentary film "Un altro Mondo" (Another World) by roman director Thomas Torelli. This documentary explores the ideas that for thousands of years, ancient peoples lived in perfect harmony with Earth and the Universe, that we exterminated these cultures in the name of civilization and progress, and that today, our science could be rediscovering their ancient knowledge, giving us the hope that our thoughts can change the world. Another world is possible, and it's all in our hands: the past, the present and the future...
"Un altro Mondo" is a work in progress, release date 2013.

Wedding Invitation
Wedding invitation
My boyfriend Thomas asked me to marry him... for the third time... and I jumped at the joy of designing our wedding invitation. My idea was to blend something classy with a traditional Mexican feel, a funny representation of our little family and the Italian saying of "Non c'è due senza tre" (meaning Good things always come in three's). I asked my super talented sister-in-law to help me with our illustration... and voilà, this is the great outcome. I can say everyone loved them :-)
Our square invitations are letterpress printed by hand in Mexico, on soft-white 100% cotton stock in black ink with bright red details.

We were moving and we had to let everyone know! The new studio was located in the Little Italy quarter of San Diego, so the idea was to mix an old world look with the bold signature colors and looks of Visual Asylum (and the Italian flag), funny copy and a beautiful tactile feel that reflected our love for details. We ordered the stamps in Italy, hand placed and stamped each announcement before mailing it in a beautiful translucent green envelope. Everyone loved them!
